Architectural historian Angelina Bair holds a master’s degree in library & information science from Kent State University. She has 16 years of experience working in archives, museums, and libraries and specializes in local architectural, historical, and genealogical research. Bair is currently working on a graduate degree in urban planning and development at Cleveland State University’s Maxine Goodman Levin College of Public Affairs and Education.

Advancing great ideas: LanguageBridge wins big at Accelerate Cleveland
The Cleveland Leadership Center's 12th Annual Accelerate: Citizens Make Change pitch competition awarded its $5,000 grand prize to LanguageBridge, an extension designed to help K-12 English learners master the language. Finalists were chosen in four other categories, and in the Technovation and Teens Make Change competitions.

AIA Cleveland recently hosted architects Sung Ho Kim and Heather Woofter for an immersive Body of Work lecture at their interdisciplinary firm Axi:Ome. Nostalgia reigns at 20th annual 'Remembering the Sights and Sounds of Euclid Beach Park'
The 20th annual "Remembering the Sights and Sounds of Euclid Beach Park" was held on Sunday, Sept. 28 at Cleveland Metroparks Euclid Beach Park, celebrating the legacy of the amusement park that operated from 1895 to 1969. Visitors enjoyed vintage car displays, historical exhibits, rides in the Euclid Beach Rocket Car, and nostalgic treats while exploring artifacts and memories from the park's heyday.

The Slovenian National Home hosted its third annual Zabava festival, celebrating Cleveland's Slovenian culture and heritage. The free, family-friendly event featured traditional food, music, and activities, including a showcase of the Kurent costume used in the Cleveland Kurentovanje Festival.

Nostalgic renovation: Euclid Beach Arch moves down the street to new Collinwood location
The historic Euclid Beach Arch in Cleveland has been relocated as part of a renovation project spearheaded by local officials. The 1921 wooden structure, which once served as the entrance to Euclid Beach Park, will become the centerpiece of a new public park and preserve the iconic piece of Cleveland's history, is scheduled for completion in 2026.
