Seasonal upgrade: Brite Winter returns to the Flats

Brite Winter, the festival that is full of art, fire, music, and fun to beat the winter blues, returns to the West Bank of The Flats for its 15th year this weekend.

The theme this year is “snapshot”—encouraging the 10,000 expected guests to relive great memories of past Brite Winters and create new memories to go into the next 15 years.

More than two dozen musical acts will perform on multiple stages with bonus entertainment in Fluri’s Clubhouse on Saturday, Feb. 24 from 3 p.m. to 12 a.m. And, of course, Brite Winter’s mascot, Fluri—a fluffy, blue giant—will be on hand to entertain.

There will be plenty of food truck options available, including Manna Truck, Rabbit Food, Blasian Fusion, Feelin’ Good Ice Cream, Smoke This, Barrio, You Enjoy My Donuts, Travelin’ Tom’s Coffee, and Swensons.

Enjoy a Sibling Revelry beer, cocktail, coffee, tea, or other beverage from the Big Brite Bar.

For the ultimate Brite Winter experience, check out Fluri’s Clubhouse—a heated tent between two stages that a DJ lineup, upgraded restrooms, a private bar. Attendees can step inside to warm up or  watch the bands from the Fluri’s Clubhouse Patio.

Tickets are $12 in advance, $17 at the gate. Kids under age 12 get in free. Tickets to Fluri’s Clubhouse are $75 each. Leashed dogs are welcome.

Accessible parking, restroom facilities, and viewing platform for the main stage are all available.

Brite Winter takes place in the Nautica lot, 2000Sycamore St., Flats West Bank. Brite Winter is a non-profit arts organization.
