Hector Castellanos Lara, Cleveland Museum of Art’s lead artist for the upcoming Parade the Circle this Saturday, June 14, has been hard at work with his army of artists and volunteers in the parade tent.

The 82-foot-by-82-foot white tent at East Bell Commons on East Boulevard and Bellflower Road in University Circle is the telltale sign that annual event is near.

Among the artists is Bernadette Glorioso, who tests the proportions of one of the three owls for a parade float. The theme for the float with three owls is “messengers.”

CLE-Vignettes are photos that show how people in Northeast Ohio spend their time—what they are doing for fun and entertainment or just hanging out with friends and family.
