As springtime nears, and daylight saving time begins this Sunday, Canalway Partners is hosting its annual 2025 Towpath Trail Lantern Parade tonight, Saturday, March 8 at 6:30 p.m.

The Towpath Trail Lantern Parade is a celebration of light, creativity, and sustainability while welcoming spring to the banks of the Cuyahoga River. The celebration is highlighted by the works of 11 local artists and creators who repurposed materials to create lanterns to light the procession, celebrate nature, and encourage environmentalism.

Make and bring your own lantern from recycled materials and a battery powered light!

The parade starts and ends at Sokolowski’s Overlook and includes a 1.5-mile roundtrip along the Towpath Trail. Free parking is available at 1429 Abbey Ave.
