The Salvation Army Cleveland in West Park will partner with the Greater Cleveland Food Bank this Friday, July 17 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. for its monthly food distribution of more than 12,000 pounds of fresh produce at the Salvation Army West Park Corps, 12645 Lorain Ave., West Park.

.Army distributions occur on the third Friday of each month. The Salvation Army at Cleveland West Park Corps commanding corps officers, Lieutenants Efard Arroyo and Williana Garcia, will oversee the event. Residents must bring their own bags to collect the produce. Salvation

In the past, the West Park Salvation Army served more than 600 individuals and 250 families each month. Because of growing demand, distributions increased from seven giveaways per year to monthly distribution events, with individuals and families taking home at least a week’s supply of produce.
