We have entered the final countdown to St. Patrick’s Day 2024 this coming Sunday, March 17.
Cleveland puts on one of the largest St. Patrick’s Day parades in the country, according to Destination Cleveland, with more than 10,000 parade participants and almost 500,000 revelers expected to observe the spectacle, and partake in festivities throughout the city.
It’s no secret that drinking green beer, Irish whiskey, Irish coffee, and other alcoholic beverages goes hand-in-hand with many St. Patrick’s Day celebrations. So the Kimpton Schofield Hotel—located just steps away from the parade at 2000 E. 9th Street—is offering holiday food and drink specials at its Betts Restaurant and a Shamrock Stay and Valet one-night room special with free valet.
“Whether you are coming down with the family on Saturday night or planning on staying Sunday night we’ve got you covered,” says Nicole Sowders, Kimpton Schofield’s ambassador of awesome.
Betts will offer its regular weekend brunch from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., with St. Patrick’s Day lunch or dinner specials that include a Reuben with fries for $16, a regular corned beef sandwich and fries for $15, and a corned beef and cabbage dinner with redskin potatoes for $24.
Sowders says the hotel is ready to ensure a safe, comfortable, and fun celebration in downtown Cleveland on March 17.
“We want to offer a safe and fun weekend for families to come down on Saturday night and wake up downtown on St Patrick’s Day, grab a hot breakfast at Betts and walk down to the parade for the day,” she says. “On the flip side, we want people to also know that if they are planning on having a few drinks, they can park here and stay the night on St Patrick’s Day.”
