Summer at Shaker Square: An extraordinary evening of guitar with Will Cheshier

After a successful launch to its free Summer music and events series on Shaker Square, Cleveland Neighborhood Progress (CNP) will host singer, songwriter, and guitarist Will Cheshier this Friday, July 11 for a laid-back summer evening of live music on the lawn outside Dave’s Market from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Known throughout Northeast Ohio for his smooth, powerful vocals and impressive guitar skills, Cheshier transforms today’s hits into rich, acoustic performances that are anything but ordinary. His full, engaging sound brings energy without overwhelming his audience—perfect for a summer night outdoors.

With a mission to foster equitable revitalization and enhance economic success and appeal for both current residents and future generations throughout Cleveland's neighborhoods, CNP is staying true to its motto, “Every neighborhood in Cleveland deserves to thrive,” series organizers say they hope these events will encourage people to re-discover Shaker Square, explore unique shopping options, and sample the delicious food available from the locally-owned restaurants.

The events will be running through the summer and into the fall. Each week offers something new, so stay up to date on future community events hosted by Cleveland Neighborhood Progress throughout the season.

And don’t forget to stop by the North Union Farmers Market, open every Saturday at Shaker Square from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
