Holiday flavor: Cleveland Glögg returns to StoneWater, Santa expected for brunch on Sunday

The Holiday season is here. It’s a time when StoneWater in Highland Heights reprises its Swedish tradition, Cleveland Glögg, an aromatic, spiced, mulled wine full of citrus flavors, and owners the Neidus sisters and their staff create special holiday menus and even bring in Santa for a holiday brunch.

Glögg
While mulled wines come in many forms, including gluhwein (German) and wassail (English), Stonewater serves the Swedish Glögg, a yuletide version with orange peel and spices.

“Glögg is a holiday tradition we’ve really come to enjoy at StoneWater,” says Lindsey Neidus, director of marketing and business development. “Glögg is the perfect way to make any winter night fun, thematic, and cozy. We’re super excited for the opportunity to offer it once again this year.”

Every mulled wine recipe is unique. The Cleveland Glögg recipe is based on a tawny port, and includes spices such as cloves, ginger, cardamom, cinnamon sticks, and golden raisins.

Cleveland Glögg is available to purchase by the bottle or by the glass in the restaurant. Bottles are $29, with a 10% discount for a case of six bottles.

Purchases can be made in-person, online, or over the phone by calling (440) 461-4653. Available for pick-up in store. For more information, email Lindsey Neidus.

Let Rustic Grill cook
The Neidus sisters say the holidays are meant to be spent with family and friends, not in the kitchen. So, the Rustic Grill makes it easy to enjoy your celebrations with chef-crafted menus.

From traditional holiday favorites to signature Rustic Grill creations, each dish is prepared with care and ready to heat, serve and enjoy. For updated menus and how to order, please visit the StoneWater site, email Whitney Neidus, or call (440) 461-4653, ext. 232.
