More than 400 guests attended the celebration of one of the most dynamic spaces in University Circle on Friday, enjoying craft cocktails and activities.

Guests danced the night away to the eclectic sounds of native Clevelander DJ Mick—who DJs for pop culture's biggest names, speaks at events and universities around the world, collabs with popular brands, and invests in culture-infused consumer startups while always focused on his most important role—father to the coolest 10-year-old on the planet.

After hours attractions at CMNH included chilling in a planetary lounge, silk-screening tote bags with Wave Space Studio, and getting after-hours access to the brand-new exhibit, “ROCK OF AGES: The Evolutionary Art of Derek Hess.” Hess, a renowned artist of the rock poster art renaissance, illustrated how science can be a launching pad for art.

Photographer Reuben Kutash wasn’t about to miss the biggest party in (natural) history last weekend, so he documented the event for FreshWater.
