As Memorial Day weekend approaches and marks the unofficial start to summer, The Yard at StoneWater—the neighborhood backyard bar on the 10th tee of StoneWater Golf Course in Highland Heights—will also kick off its summer season with live music, food, and cocktails.

Summer season kicks off this Friday, May 24 with the 2023 Cleveland Music Awards best cover band winner 4 Locos, the Rustic Grill food stand, and a long drive contest at 5:30 p.m. On Saturday, May 25, Beatles tribute band Liverpool Lads will take the stage while El Patron Tequileria Food Truck serves up margarita specials.

“This is our fourth season with The Yard, and every summer more and more people come and fall in love with it,” says Lindsey Neidus, Rustic Grill director of marketing and business development. It sits in this kind of hidden oasis in the middle of the golf course, which makes it so special and magical, and not really like any other place.”

Neidus adds that they have expanded the seating capacity, added more well-known bands to the lineup, included special tastings and experiences, and added a frozen cocktail machine.

This year’s live music lineup includes names like Disco Inferno and Monica Robins & The Whiskey Kings, while a variety of food trucks, like Cousins Maine Lobster and Cle Chicken Food Truck, will be on-site most weeks, as well as vendors.

The Yard will also feature games and events—like putting contests, balloon tosses and tie dying—on select nights. Additionally, Neidus says they’re partnering with local breweries like Saucy Brew Works, Market Garden Brewery, and Sibling Revelry Brewing for tap takeovers and tastings.

Once a month on Thursdays, movie nights under the stars will be shown. Check out the full summer schedule to see everything going on this season.

Starting this Friday, May 24, The Yard will be open every Friday and Saturday night from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. Dogs and families with children are welcome.
